We’re Candice and Dave, and we run Juniper & Doors from West Boise. Candice manages every home we take on. When you call, you reach one of us, never a call center.
Candice and Dave
Juniper & Doors is our full-time work, and our names are on it. We’ve lived in the same house since 2014, raising our two boys, and we’ve owned a rental ourselves. Owning one taught us what an owner wants to hear: what happened, what it costs, and when it’s fixed.
Dave
Co-owner
Dave onboards new homes, makes field visits, and sorts out emergencies. A former software engineer, he keeps our systems running, and he’s handy enough to know a fair repair quote from a padded one. When Candice is out, Dave is your backup.
What you can count on
Straight answers, including the ones you don’t want to hear, and decisions made here by the people who own the company.

One flat rate on the rent we collect, with no tiers. Owning a rental is enough work without decoding your manager.
- 0% markup
Repairs are billed at vendor cost, with before-and-after photos on every job.

Any repair over this waits for your OK. If a job runs high or the rent should come down, you hear it early, with the reason.
- 21 days
We return deposits with an itemized statement within 21 days of move-out. Idaho law allows a lease to extend that deadline to 30 days.
